I’m literally speechless. I can’t gather a single sentence to explain about how I fell in love with this anime just three episodes in. I’m not really an anime kinda guy, I use to like them as a kid and well...I grew up. I’ll watch DBZ every now and then because of my brother but anything else nah. Most of them is overly exaggerated or too silly for me. But—this—this felt as psychologically real as Fincher’s Se7en and even emotional gritty as Zodiac. From it’s opening intro I knew I had something special in my eyes. I admire it so much because it felt like something I would’ve loved to create. So much human complexity dripping out of…
"i can fix fim" yeah? well i could accept him as he is. you dont like crimes? grow up, the atrocities are part of him and I've decided they're funny
"Look at me, look at me. The monster inside me has grown this large."
Munch-munch, chomp-chomp, gobble-gobble, gulp.
This anime changed protagonists like 7 times, and while I'm not a fan of all of them, I'm glad I trusted the story. Cause this is the type of story that will actually force you to pay attention. There's gonna be moments where you just want the plot to move forward, but they're gonna whiplash you into another plotline and it will take a while for it to set its footing, yet they always land and leave you wanting more.
Each arc is rich with 3 dimensional characters; carrying the grim tone consistently, and constantly reminding the audience that something evil is afoot, lurking, burried and awake. The haunting soundtrack compliments the somewhat bland yet almost life-like animation style and…
Damn... What a good ass anime lol. Very few animes that I saw actually seemed to get better and more intriguing as it got along, tbh, I think this is the only one that made me feel that way. Every episode, something new and interesting happens, there are no fillers to be found, it just goes straight to where it wants to go, and I really love that.
And, as you've noticed, the story is SOOO cussing good that it's unbelievable. Almost every character has a purpose within the overall story, and even some characters that you once thought you would never see again reappears on the final episodes, they're amazing. And Johann... is such an amazingly well written villain,…

Hilfe! Das Monstrum in mir wird explodieren.

Monster is a multi-layered psychological story, centered on the previously-praised surgeon Kenzō Tenma in his complex chasing game, or maybe his hunt for the Monster. Monster is more than a suspenseful and heartbeating thriller — its main problem was built from the most simple and challenging moral dilemma of good and evil, innocence and guiltiness, optimism and nihilism. A depiction of the complex beauty and terror of macabre, that we can see from the uncountable bloods and losses in the plot. However, Monster is also more than that, it's a complex depiction of the human condition…
Once upon a time, in a land far away, there lived a nameless monster. The monster was dying to have a name, so the monster set out on a journey to find one. But the world was a very large place. The monster split into two and went on their way. One monster went East. One went to the West. The monster who went to the East found a village. At the village's entrance there lived a blacksmith. "Mr.Blacksmith, give me your name" said the monster. "I can't give you my name" the blacksmith replied. "In return for giving me your name, I'll go inside of you and make you strong." "Really? If you make me strong, I'll give you…
If it weren't for Neon Genisis Evangelion, which just happens to be my favorite piece of art ever created, this would be my favorite show.
I don't even wanna get into it. Like everything you've heard is true, it's all great. The writing, the animation, Mr. Gimmer, and of course JOHAN FUCKING LIEBERT... but I don't wanna risk, spoiling a single second of this wild ride for one of y'all.
It's free, on youtube, 1080p, the whole series, go watch it.
