Wow. So many moving parts. I have no idea how this was choreographed to work out. (Which, by the way, is a very apt description for at least half of Zbigniew Rybczynski that I have seen so far.)
Part of my effort to watch at least one short film per day. Here is the list I am currently working through, with a random number generator determining the film each day. I will take recommendations for everything that's 40 minutes max.
Rybczynski haciendo visible su obsesión con la representación de paradojas espacio-temporales. 9 pantallas distintas que acompañan 9 puntos de vista. Es decir, 9 cortometrajes sucediendo al mismo tiempo.
Magistral.
Multi-layered look into the goings on in one street in a day. Has a vague feel of CCTV and what with complaints of surveillance states back then, one could see the political ramifications in this even if it seems all rather innocuous "Oh Pani Zosiu...."
That said, even with the editing delays on show, Rybczynski must've had a stopwatch to plan this to the absolute nth degree as the amount of detailed planning going into this is extraordinary.
one day in some peoples life are shown here by Zbig Rybczynski. So many things are happening at the same time in front of you. where do you look ?
How can you watch every person's life in a single viewing. Maybe, that's the point.
Thanks Kelly for showing me the only other film I've seen from my country so far and thankfully it's not mid this time
