It's nice to see something made by Disney actually tackle LGBT+ themes directly rather than just going "hey we're inclusive, there's a gay couple in the background of one shot for 5 frames!" But it's nice in addressing the fear and anxiety of coming out to parents and overcoming that fear by knowing your parents will still accept and love you... in some cases. Unfortunately that's not always how it goes, but having that light of hope in a short like this that it's going to be okay once you come out is a heartwarming sentiment.
Anyways, they make it really fun here, the whole body swap idea leads to some fun antics, the animation style is lovely as is the music. It's really good!
