The worst jumpscare in this film was when they acknowledged the pandemic... please let me have my escapism thank you!
But seriously this movie... well I'm conflicted. It definitely has its moments but [screams] there's some incredibly unignorable issues I have here.
The most glaringly obvious is the "found footage" so lets break that down.
Why was there added jumpscare noises?
It would make a little more sense if the whole thing felt like someone would've actually found the footage and tried to turn it into a horror movie, but the way things turn out I don't think that would be the case? So, there's that.
