"Is four years a long time?"
Wim Wenders' Paris, Texas is a film that almost made me cry. I have never even cried because of a movie since I was very little, but this movie almost made me break down in tears. It's about a man who, after being discovered in a small town in South Texas after being missing for four years, moves into his brother's house taking care of his own son that he walked out on, and to finally reconnect with society.
Without spoiling anything, the last 20 minutes are easily the most depressing. The visuals, the writing, the acting, etc. are all fantastic, and I really hope I check out Wim Wenders' other work, too. 5/5. Sorry if this review's a little rushed, I watched this last night, and it was too emotional for me to make a review in time.
