One of those weird mystery films made to hold on to rights rather than ever reach the general public, this baffling updated take on the Porky's formula doesn't feel anything like the original trilogy apart from some boobs and stupid behavior. It's slick, bright, shiny, and very, very stupid, but sort of fascinating since it was directed by none other than Brian Trenchard-Smith, the mad Aussie behind films like Stunt Rock and The Man from Hong Kong. This one essentially dropped off the face of the earth after a blink-and-you'll-miss-it late night appearance on cable, so keep an eye out for a film that's more fascinating for its rarity and weird backstory than anything on screen.

Aside from the word “Porky’s” it has almost nothing in common with the Porky’s series, but feels more like a half-assed American Pie Presents film (it even has the WORST Stiffler in it! You know, the one from the worst of the American Pie series, Book of Love) or a later National Lampoon cheap and easy cash-grab time-waster. Even the soundtrack is very hit or miss, with more miss than hit.

If you’re just looking for mind-numbing time-filler with a lot of tits, this is for you. If you want entertainment, just watch one of the real Porky’s films.

So this reboot is exactly what I thought I was going to get when I watched the original movie.

This is horrible. It's all bathroom humor with trashy naked women. They take the "meat" jokes way too far.

Though in some ways better then porkys2 and mybe even 3 this film kinda forgets 1-3 take place in the 50s lol

Ashcan is the term used when a film is made for the sole purpose of retaining the rights to make another one later. Usually they're not intended for public viewing... for a good reason. It's actually amazing that it's as watchable as it is being made on the cheap, on the quick, without expectations. There's worse nutty teen sex comedies but this one unfortunately has the Porkys moniker and those films are sharp comedies to be put up against. This is not my kind of film but if you like a lot of gratuitous nudity, fart jokes and mindless sex humor, give a shot. Currently free on TUBI

The acting isn’t the best but damn it this film

Not kidding, this was my favourite of the Porky's film.

Really couldn't see much funny about the first which is supposed to be a classic, and guess I found the characters pretty awful.

Luckily this film had new characters, who actually were pretty awful too, but not quite as bad as the first lot.

There's actually a Porky character in this movie, which is absent from the 2nd film. And the plot is there, even if it is pretty simple. Pee Wee and mates set up a rival establishment from Porky's to make some cash.

So with a simple plot is place the characters are quite funny, and the women are good too. There aren't many laughs. The set piece moments aren't great, but the ambience is funny.

Delightful 4th installment in the porkys franchise. Highly recommended for fans of sleazy sex comedies he a very unpc 80s feel.

I haven’t enjoyed a raunchy comedy made after, like, 1986 so I’m probably the wrong person to discuss this shinning example of pre “grab ‘em by the pussy” culture.

This time our boys and Porky’s daughter team up to run a competing house of ill repute. This makes more sense than the first movie's cast destroying Porky’s in an act of petty revenge. Whereas Porky has previously been portrayed as irredeemable redneck garbage, this movie even has a (relatively) sweet scene of father daughter reconciliation.

Directed by the great Brian Trenchard-Smith.

As someone who loves (to a fault) the original trilogy, I was hesitant to watch this. Curiosity finally got to me, and I was pleasantly surprised. The movie is not good, by any means. Laughable line delivery, cringy plot-lines, and some dated jokes are all present here, but oddly enough these things work to make this movie fall under the "so bad it's funny" category. It's kind of like Samberg at Franco's roast (only Samberg's was on purpose).

If you are in the mood for a simple, juvenile movie and you have no expectations, it's fine. Sometimes a movie being fine is good enough for me.
