Pam XXX - Indagine ad alto rischio, Good Cop, Bad Cop, Soli contro il crimine, Strip Girl, Good Cop Bad Cop
Not as good or fun as it *should* be, but still:
- David A Prior directed
- Set in New Orleans (sort of) and sponsored by Zapp's Chips and Dixie Beer
- A man gets killed after being impaled by a giant dart!
- Stacy Keach is an evil southern villain
- Some guy kisses Pamela Anderson's butt
- The soundtrack is pretty much nothing but horrible blues rock and "bad to the bone" guitar riffs
- Alternately titled as "Good Cop Bad Cop" and "Strip Girl"
- Swamp boat chase scene
- A dude jumps out of a helicopter with no parachute
it's been 24+ hours since i watched raw justice and i'm still thinking about it. this film has it all, hovercraft explosions, alligators, death by novelty sized dart...
there's nothing here not to love.
A buddy cop film where Pamela Anderson's only purpose is to have unprotected sex with both of them. I think this is pre-boob job days as you can tell by her gratuitous sex scenes. How gratuitous? Well, David Keith's character pulls down her pants in a dirty old building after having just met her and eats out her butt hole. Ah, the '90s.
"I can't believe this macho bullshit"
It has an exploding hovercraft, Pam Anderson in the shortest shorts possible, an exploding helicopter, a mysterious floppy disc, Charles Napier as a mayor, Stacy Keach as a Deputy Mayor, David Keith as a bounty hunter named Mace and one of the dumbest sex scenes ever. And it all takes place in New Orleans. This is David Prior doing his best Andy Sidaris.
RAW JUSTICE aka GOOD COP BAD COP is mostly known for its two sex scenes involving Pam Anderson. Both are completely gratuitous and utterly random, especially the first one with David Keith.
David A. Prior's movie is mostly boring (the action) and dumb (the humor), and it overall feels like a less fun version of an Andy Sidaris flick.
Merciless dad blues soundtrack that perpetually plays amidst little action. Basically a vehicle to show Pamela Anderson naked in two sex scenes. Sparse action and mainly just bad, bad comedy. Ted shows up to wrestle with an alligator, which is easily the high point. This probably would have been a gem for a small boy if it showed up on late night television in the 90s, but despite my brain being of a similar constitution this came off as aggravatingly bland. Bottom tier Prior.

I was pretty sure I knew what kind of movie I was watching, but then that dude started licking Pamela Anderson's butthole, and I was like "Yup, I was right."
During one of her season breaks from filming (TV's)BAYWATCH,Pamela Anderson(BARB WIRE,SNAPDRAGON) took a small supporting role in this decent David A. Prior(DEADLY PRETY,NIGHT CLAWS,FUTURE FORCE) directed actioner that has Anderson as a local prostitute who reluctantly joins up with wily ex-cop-turned-bounty hunter (the Patrick Swayze looking]David Keith(AN OFFICER AND A GENTLEMAN,FIRESTARTER) who is recruited by an assholish Alabama Mayor(Charles Napier[RAMBO:FIRST BLOOD;PART 2,BEYOND THE VALLEY OF THE DOLLS]) to pursue after a guy(Robert Hays[AIRPLANE !,CAT'S EYE]) who has framed for the murder of Napier's daughter(April Bogenshultz[PENANCE LANE,BLOATED MINDS]) as Keith and hays soon team up to seek out the real killers while they're being pursued by a slew of villains that include both a corrupt Deputy(/Pro Term) Mayor(Stacy Keach[NEBRASKA,ESCAPE FROM L.A.])…
Would be a lot more fun without the maddening use of bluesy stings on the soundtrack.
A middling effort from David A. Prior. There's a couple of moments where his particular brand of oddly compelling action shines though, but mostly, Raw Justice comes off as an unbalanced buddy cop film that also happens to have Pam Anderson along for the ride.
I originally watched and wrote about this film on the 15th of August 2015, but 3 days later I heard about the death of the film's director David A. Prior and decided to change it up to something that honours him a bit more.
With the few films I had seen of Prior I was starting to become a fan, and after watching Raw Justice (here released in the UK as Good Cop, Bad Cop) I had planned to watch more of his work - which I still plan to do thaks to an whole bunch of his movies being uploaded to Youtube - the reason I enjoy his films, this included his that he knew how to structure a…
I found this at the thrift store on vhs. I figured for a dollar and it has Pamela Anderson in it, I'll give it a shot.
I looked into who made this film and come to find out it was done by the same guy who did Sledgehammer. So I figured I'd make it a double bill tonight of David A. Prior.
Raw Justice is written and directed by David A. Prior, while I feel like he had fun writing the script. The filming of the movie seems very uninspired. There is a dirt bike chase sequence which is fun in itself however the way it was filmed it feels like they are barely going over 20mph. There are plenty…
Moronic beyond recognition Midnight Run ripoff - complete with hokey blues score that keeps beating you over the head with a riff on "Mannish Boy" - with David Keith and Robert Hays as your generic brand De Niro/Grodin. Keith's overzealous wino cop gets demoted to bounty hunter after buying streetwalker Pam Anderson's clothes to fool a perp into handcuffs. I'm pretty convinced from his performance that he was Method drinking! Ted Stryker is a wrongly accused detective that I thought was a criminal for more than half of the film. We've also got a disinterested Stacy Keach, motherfuckin' Charles Napier, and Leo Rossi not even trying to be a good guy. Most of this is reprehensible garbage that very much…
Very fun and stupid movie that knows its audience and doesn’t care about the rest of the world. Good dialogue and a stream of action scenes with terribly aimed gunfire, conveniently placed launch ramps, piles of boxes and things that explode far more than they should.
Bad movie glory at its finest! While it clearly doesn't even try to reinvent the cinematic wheel, it managed to entertain me thoroughly, which is rarely the case when it comes to this overtly bland, safe and politically correct action "cinema" we are fed nowadays.
Pam really was the shit in the 90's. Next up Barb Wire rewatch.

Come for the gratuitous sex scenes, stay for the surprisingly solid stunts and action. It may be the best David A. Prior film I've seen, though it shouldn't surprise you that that is not saying much.
Mostly pretty average as DTV movies co-starring Charles Napier and Leo Rossi go. Gotta say that I liked David Keith in this one though, and the ending is appropriately ridiculous. If this is the type of thing you're in the mood for, it's enjoyable enough.
There are many metrics you can use to decide on whether a movie is good or not. Star power, number of jokes, budget – but my household uses a simpler one. A movie is usually going to be good when my wife asks me to pause it when she leaves the room to get herself a drink; to date, this is the first David A Prior effort to get this treatment!
I’m pretty sure this is Prior’s best movie so far. I mean, I enjoyed “Deadly Prey” but it’s a bizarre First Blood ripoff with a spectacularly bleak ending; this has a whisper of “Midnight Run” in it but is kind-of its own thing, has a decent cast, a few…
Fast, furious and raw mayhem. Bam! Bam! Bam! Baboooom!! Welcome to New Orleans!
This movie is a story about action. It follows nicely the 1990s action style. Just sit, relax, watch and enjoy!
A 90s action buddy cop movie that’s super fun and supremely ridiculous. Worth a watch
I was expecting a lot less than I got with this tongue-in-cheek cheapo action/comedy, in fact by the end I was feeling pretty satisfied, although it may have been the cider. It employs every cliche in the book to good effect, David Keith is the rough diamond bail bondsman, Stacy Keach the suitably malicious baddie. Add in Pamela Anderson and Robert Hays, oh and Charles Napier. Some low-budget car chases and Police Squad-style shoot-outs. I burst out laughing when Keith and Anderson just suddenly got it on whilst hiding out in a warehouse - where did that come from? And it's all backed by this comedy southern-US bluesy soundtrack. Dumb as the proverbial box of rocks, cliched to hell, but entertaining.
