this is one of the stupidest movies i've ever seen, starring an NFL flameout beefcake (known for his camera-ready performative, controversial antics even as an athlete) as the worst cop/undercover biker of all time who just wants to hangout with his pet komodo dragon and crush some skulls, and blatantly written around getting to its insanely bloody, explosive political massacre finale. i fucking love it. leans into just about every cartoonish, high-octane sweaty macho swagger gesture it can (almost parody levels) and that stuntman craig baxley elevates out of the vhs trashbin of history and into something genuinely special with his ambitiously-scaled action direction. he…
The first time I watched this a couple years ago I immediately knew the remaining 90 something minutes would be gold after I saw a lunatic thug maniacally laughing while firing 5,837 rounds into a display of Ritz crackers at a supermarket. It’s even better on revisit!
Between this, Action Jackson, and Dark Angel aka I come in Peace, Craig R. Baxley was a force (of explosions) to be reckoned with.

A film designed almost to offend this sensitive society, not so much with its shock value but with the number of outdated characters, sexist treatment, and so on. Those willing to overlook this, however, will enjoy a mindless, silly action film that feels like it belongs in the 90s.
Whether it is Forsyth or Lance Henriksen as these two bikers, one more unhinged than the other, both provide the fun and embody some pretty entertaining villains, the latter adding some charm and making the film stand out. Brian Bosworth is equally good as our protagonist, though not quite as good as Arnie or Stallone, or even JCVD. Still, he's great - though his strong resemblance to John Kreese was distracting.
All in all, an action movie from its time that by all accounts is not great, but it is entertaining nevertheless.

Drags in the lead-up to the third act, but this is almost consistently absurd and enjoyable otherwise. A trashy undercover biker action movie. Lance Henriksen is MVP.
After enjoying the last Craig, R. Baxley joint Dark Angel I decided to finally check out another and STONE COLD seemed to fit the bill. You are thrown straight into the action with grocery store robbery where we are introduced to our mulleted hero Joe Huff/John Stone who is wearing all of the denim on offer! This movie goes from the utterly insane to the downright absurd with over the top action scene after over over the top action scene. One of them sees old Stone Cold jumping from a helicopter through the courthouse roof.
