It's very easy to get lost into this film,losing track of time and space, just like when you get lost in a conversation, that feeling is encapsulated to perfection. Just like the characters, I for time forgot the context of the situation, to focus on the conversation alone. There is nothing extraordinary happening, yet the long scenes manage to feel magical and unique. Beautiful and sad movie all around, in which I think is a perfect balance between those two.
I was praying credits to roll at the shot of François walking into the night following the guy, but that would have meant missing the sending of the letter, so I can't complain about that.
