Maybe I’m alone here but the Bart penis thing is such a chilling childhood memory. Still a pretty crazy shot. This is crazy relevant and still very funny.

My friend said he didn't like The Simpsons very much.
We put this on.
He laughed at nearly every line.
The Golden Age of the Simpsons. Wow.
"despite everything, i miss your father."
"me too. his big fat ass could shield us all."
9/10
There’s a moment in this where Bart is looking through luggage on a train, and finds a black bra in a passenger’s luggage. He then puts it on his head, and proceeds to say in a mouse voice the following: ”I'm the mascot of an evil corporation!”
Ah, how ironic all these years later.
I enjoy being a critical consumer of media, particularly film, looking at a movie from various thematic standpoints and analyzing how effective it is in its storytelling and messaging capabilities. But it's also very easy to get caught up in this more academic way of thinking and undervalue any work that isn't radically profound. Coming off of a very frustrating night, watching The Simpsons Movie made me feel so, so good. I already love all these characters from the series, and getting to spend these near 90 minutes with them was something I really needed. The one, singular purpose of film may be controversial to define, but I don't think there's any denying that a movie that lifts your spirits…
Homer literally getting caught between a rock and a hard place is such a great gag it gets me every single time
thinking that a live action simpsons movie would be really cool
jack nicholson as homer
this movie is so funny and all of the characters are classic.
Obviously this ain't the golden age simpsons but I'd at least say this feels like it has more effort put into it then the seasons that were airing concurrently. still not great
Thanks to Disney+, I got about 18-19 seasons of binging the Simpsons before I completely got bored of it. The first 10 or so seasons were absolutely amazing, pretty much the best TV show that kept me craving for more. But then they start getting to shit like Homer being raped by a Panda and some dumb shit like that. By Season 18, I was like “Alright man, I’m done. I’ma watch this fucking movie and cancel my Disney+ subscription cuz I’ve seen everything else that’s worth my time.” Not even Wandavision catches my interest, man. All I use Disney+ is for Mando (which is done), The Simpsons (which I’m pretty much done with), and some Star Wars Prequels and…
