A good portion of this is competently shot, the other half looks like an episode of The Office.
nominating the two popes for so much is just an ad campaign so people watch the two popes to find out what its being nominated for. yeah ill bite
anthony mccarten needs to be stopped at all costs. an expository ode to centrism and compromise 3 years after watching it burn to the ground right before our eyes and for some reason it's shot like a paul greengrass movie.

I can't wait for this to come out on Netflix on December 20th (and limited release in theaters on November 27th)! Both of my parents are former Catholics and there is a lot of baggage that comes with the institutionalization of Christianity. For a long time, I felt Catholicism has lost the plot and this movie beautifully covered that.
