“I’ve never been anywhere, I just know I’d like it”
The events of this movie, if just read out, read like an episode of riverdale and I mean that in the best way possible.
Frankly more movies should be like this: mostly about riding trains, full of costumed gangs, and shot in location in the middle of the night. Who needs good acting when you have evil Jerry from Twin Peaks, the New York City subway, and a gang of lesbians - literally called the Lizzies - who get closest to killing the main characters.
So really what I mean to say, is that this is very close to a perfect movie, to me, save for some very obviously bad acting.
On a side note I’m so glad I found a physical copy of the theatrical cut, the directors cut that’s widely available is just... such a bastardized version of the film
