I very much enjoy films that explore legendary creatures! Pure fantasy that takes you to a place where magical and wondrous creatures still exist! I try to indulge my inner child whenever I can so this was a real treat!
The baby Water Horse was just so darn cute! Positively enchanting! A lighthearted film the whole family can sit down together and watch!
I remember watching this when I was so young. And I wanted to ride on Loch Ness' back so bad. Yeehaw 🏇
I'll never get rid of this movie. Crusoe is the cutest thing on the frickin planet. Where do I can find this creature? Do they sell it on eBay? Notice me if y'all know!
N.p. : I cried a lot at the end 😔
this is like when i thought i’d found dinosaur eggs and i waited for them to open but nothing happened so i just opened them myself and there was no dinosaur inside 😭😭
WHY THE FUCK DOES WATERHORSE HAVE A 2.8 STAR AVERAGE GUYS THIS IS A BEUATIFUL FILM ABOUT PREDJUDICE AND LOVE AND THE INNOCENCE OF CHILDREN AND I WONT ATAND FOR THIS SLAMDER
"Water Horse" is like "E.T." meets "Dunkirk" meets "The Secret of Roan Inish" (remember that one? If not, get on that) except, y'know, not quite as good as any of those.
"Water Horse" has plenty of heart and sweetness and a soupcon of conflict, but it never engages the emotions as deeply as it could. Some of the visual effects are great, some are a bit iffy, but "Water Horse" works more often than not as a sweet little fable with some distinctly Scottish and World War 2 trappings. It has its own unique flavor going for it, which I respect. The characters have some layers to them but, unfortunately, a lot of the revelations we get about them and…
the cgi is dogshit lmao but this was such a nostalgia trip for me. it feels like i watched this movie all the time as a kid but also not at all.
Even though this isn’t the most popular movie of all time. I think it deserves more recognition. The bond between Angus and Crusoe is so special, although there surroundings aren’t the best.
Bro it's like I can't go to ONE film discussion without someone bringing the iconic and memorable The Water Horse: Legend of the Deep
i wont stand for the water horse slander, this movie was magical for me as a child.
