OK, I'll admit it....as one of the biggest TP freaks on Earth, I hadn't watched this yet!!!!
When I bought the Blu-ray Box Set the day it came out in 2014, I wanted to save this until after I did a rewatch in order to fully be back in "Peaks-Mode" to enjoy it.
Honestly, I just expected an extended group of deleted scenes like any DVD bonus feature...
I had no idea how mind blowing this footage was and absolutely MANDATORY viewing this is for Peakies...it practically is another entire David Lynch Twin Peaks Campanion Film on its own!
I cannot believe that *entire appearances* from Sheriff Truman & Deputy Hawk, Andy & Lucy, Ed & Nadine, Mr & Mrs Hayward, Major & Mrs Briggs,…
What was David Lynch thinking cutting out two of the sweetest Ed x Norma scenes ever? Dumbass, let me enjoy my soap opera.
If I could give this two hearts, I would; this is such a treat. I wish some of these scenes were actually in the original movie, but I’m glad they got to see the light of day either way. Although some scenes may be redundant or unnecessary to the main plot of Fire Walk with Me, none of it feels like a waste of time.
totally inessential, but also so fulfilling and rewarding idk i'm glad this exists
but i haven't brushed my teeth yet...
I WOULD DIE FOR THE TWIN PEAKS UNIVERSE ITS MY FAVOURITE UNIVERSE EVER AND I JUST ADORE EVERYTHING ABOUT IT AND I WANT MORE
Action! - Da Fuq? The David Lynch Chronicles
All in all, a collection of deleted scenes that answer the rhetorical question everyone who watched Fire Walk With Me asked themselves, “could this film even be more terrifying and awesome?”. Well, the answer is yet, especially on the former. There’s just an insane amount of scenes that just shows the dread, the nightmarish and tragic nature of Palmer’s descend into madness by this supernatural force. Whether that’s the special appearance by Pazuzu himself chatting with the small guy, whose as charming as ever, or the whole David Bowie’s character “death” (?) scene, that’s both scary as well yet so absurd one can’t help but to laugh. Damn, even the wood clip with the old deaf guy is hilarious.

picked this for my 5000th film logged. I thought the best way to mark this seismic occasion would be with the one part of Peaks I haven’t seen and it was everything I’d dreamed it could be. my night has been atrocious, my laptop is fucked and my head’s bruised from the first meltdown I couldn’t control in over a month, but at least this exists. at least there’s a few more scenes from my favourite thing that are out of the void and exist for everyone to see. at least that’s the case. and it was so melancholic to see Peggy Lipton again, I miss her so terribly already. here’s to 5000 more movies I guess
"the angels will return. and when you see the one that's meant to help you, you will weep with joy."
no piece of media has ever impacted me like twin peaks. i put off watching the missing pieces for so long, because i couldn't stand the thought that i'd never see any part of the series for the first time again. with this movie (if you could call it that) came a sense of finality that i'd never really been ready for. even now that it's over, and the credits are rolling, i'm still not. the story of this town and the dark forces that haunt it was my first introduction to lynch, and it remains my favourite work of his. despite…
some damn good scenes in here ☕️ thank u sir david lynch for twin peaks, you've given me so much !!!!! so much to love as well as so much to fear !!! i shall cherish everything about this mystical world forever !!!!
