it's 2020 i think we have vastly progressed past the need for the feelings of men in movies about the rape of the women in their lives
Movie no 17 at Göteborg film festival
I had this one on one of my early lists, but forgot about it but I decided to give this one a go.
This is not a bad movie but I feel that its a very ordinary movie with one main story, and thats all.
I can feel that its to little for the cinema format.
Its about family relations and secrets that people keep to themself and to come out on the other side of something traumatic and keep moving on with your life.
Like I said not a bad movie, but it feels a bit to small.
Sometimes you need to take a chance when it comes to festival movies and I did and it didnt hit the soft spot.
I liked how they treated the whole thing without being overly dramatic but with that shadow still present in her life
