Funny trailer, I’d watch the actual film to be honest.
Rob zombie might be a shit horror director.
He is funny as hell and should stick to parody.
Nazisploitation has gotta be the weirdest fuckin subgenre ever. I don't really want this as a full-length Rob Zombie movie, but it is interesting to see the filmmaker swapping out his usual band of rednecks for Nazis. It works as a sort of self-satirization, and it also opens the doors to a whole new realm of fetishistic imagery that feels like the kinkier cousin of Zombie's violent Americana. I don't think that was a mistake. This was never my favorite Grindhouse trailer, but it does pack in a lot of Zombie's typical goodness. It's often hilarious and has some gorgeous shots (mixed in with a lot of stuff that looks like a cheap movie from 2007 instead of the seventies, but I guess all the money went to the uniforms and fires). The Nic Cage cameo is god tier. Felt a little redundant to say "Written and Directed by Rob Zombie" at the end.
My favorite of the Grindhouse trailers and the one I'd love to see adapted into a feature. This trailer is buck wild.
Zombie really taps into something here and if it were made today would be a great satire of our current climate.
Probably the least memorable fake trailer attached to Grindhouse, but still an amusing look at a crazy-looking WWII action film filled with whores, mad doctors, furries, nazis, fire, guns, and shouting.
Grindhouse #1
Of all the Rob Zombie rewatches, I didn’t think this would be first.
Saw this when it was attached to Grindhouse in the theatres years and years ago.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I need to see Nicolas Cage in a Tarantino film. Preferably the star of it too.
This should exist. As big movie fans we should start our own #releasethesnydercut style hashtag to get this film made. Who doesn't want to see Nic Cage as Fu Manchu?

97 Days of Nic Cage: Day 42.5
Since Cage is only in this fake trailer attached to Grindhouse, I found it would be prudent to skip Grindhouse and only review this trailer (although I do love Quintin Tarantino). Well, it’s worth the 5 minute watch, if only to revel in how Nic Cage acts insane as Fu Manchu for like 15 seconds. If it was a real movie, it would probably be a fun one to watch with friends. Not much to say about it other than it’s pretty funny. I won’t be adding it to my list ranking Cage’s movies, as it’s only a fake trailer, but it would still rank above several of his movies.
Featuring Nicolas Cage as.. "Fu Manchu"
