there wasn't even a wrong turn in this one ???

Such a huge drop from the first 2 and yet I still enjoy it because I’m dumb like that.

Honestly, this is pretty bad with barely masked British accents and truly godawful CGI, like I’m really not sure even a single drop of actual fake blood was used in this movie, I think it was all added in post and it’s so bad. And yet, there are some creative kills and I like the “everybody’s awful” ending.

I also really love Janet Montgomery from that great tv show Salem that got cancelled when WGN decided to “rebrand” (aka got desperate) and disowned all of their running shows. She’s certainly the highlight of this film, but she’s also a bit better than it really  deserves. Oh well, I tell myself the same thing almost every day to almost everything.

In this episode of "As The Stomach Churns" Naughty is distraught over the fact Wrong Turn 3 was not only left for dead it stunk like the dead!

Inferior acting and some god awful special effects nearly pushed our heroine Naughty over the edge! But then she suddenly realized she had so much to live for..

back in 2009 me and my best friend at the time just got back from watching Saw VI in theaters and that’s when the big blizzard hit us so yeah another film i watched stuck at my friends loud obnoxious house lol. but yeah we had a blast tearing this movie apart and laughing at how bad it was. he literally looked at me and said “damn man this will never hold a candle to Saw man.” and i was like the happiest person at that time cause it took my determination and a shitty horror film for my friend to accept how amazing the Saw series was lol

Before the movie even started I was treated to some “coming attractions” .. The Marine 1&2 blu ray release (both starring wrestlers and produced by WWE) and the Sons of Anarchy Season 1 blu ray. Oh, and of course the Wrong Turn 2 DVD release. 

Right off the bat you get some kills that could have been fun.... but instead, they’re CGI and THEY. ARE. SHIT. 

Things don’t really get any better from there. The story follows a prisoner transfer through the back roads when a tire blows from what? Barbed Wire! Really switching things up here. So they have to continue through the woods on foot and have some run ins with those wild and wonderful mutants of West Virginia. 

Pure garbage... there is a reason I always stop here.

A huge step up from 2 though the CGI blood is unforgivable.

I like the gag where the dude was groping his girlfriend and the arrow when through her chest and his hand.

Other than that a dull generic hillbilly slasher.

6 and a future reboot. How?

Way too much escaped prisoners arguing and not enough cannibal mutant hillbillies. This is my least favourite of the series but it's still not completely awful this time around for me. I must really have been in the mood for the Wrong Turn movies because I'm enjoying all of them. But this one actually uses some awful cgi gore...but with a bit more practical mixed in than I remembered it having...but the biggest sin is the lame prisoners tromping though the woods forever with nothing much happening except for the lead bad guy threatening people and them finding bags of money in the middle of the woods and then arguing over it endlessly. Real exciting. Plus, the killed the dog. At least it was off screen.

Boring and at times stupid, this begins the entry of bad WT movies. The characters are uninteresting, the kills are silly, and we see far too much arguing and not enough juicy bits.

As long as one of the first deaths in these movies has someone cut into a number of pieces corresponding to which entry in the franchise it is, I'll keep enjoying them

Okay but that was actually not as bad as I expected

This movie is bad but I’d be lying if I said I didn’t enjoy it BECAUSE it’s so bad.

The Mexican street gang leader is a guy named Chavez and after the first act he develops a British accent for some reason

Like the only merit was the gore, which is really I think the only reason people watch these movies, and I do thing it had very cool kills, but that awful 00s CGI just really ruined it it was so bad! It was so ugly!! Also the acting & the accents were horrible! The plot was stupid! The characters were annoying! But somehow I still really laughed so much so who knows....

Fun sequel. Nothing great but it tries to do more than just recreate what came before.

I drank shots and beer and played Wow throughout the film, looking up when I can. Seems like the perfect shitty film, it’s bad, but dammit did it have charm and was entertaining.

The first movie wasn't great but watchable, the second movie was actually a bit of fun, but this third one is pure garbage on every level.

I'm now three films into this franchise and certainly it can't get worse than this, right?

To force myself to pay attention I made myself look for metaphors. I decided that the "chasing a big bag of cash through the woods" was a metaphor for the recession anxiety around 2008/2009.

This was so bad. It took me three tries to get through it. The acting, writing, CGI, plot, all just...bad. One scene, the screaming was so annoying, I muted my tv.

I'm watching my way through the franchise for the first time, thankfully people seem to like the next one more!
