  Find myself returning to this short, if mostly for inspiration because of the way it elevates a pretty generic and miserable British social realist narrative with it's unexpected structure. Undeniably a compelling if somewhat trite film.

  One of the best screenplays and crop of performances of the year no doubt, an incredible feature directorial debut too. I had to pour through some of the screenplay after it's just that good. Heart wrenching and deeply involving.
