2017, my 30th year - the year I started relating to the parents in teen dramas more than I did the main characters.
Extremely relatable and enjoyable. The characters are so well defined in this and so three dimensional, it's pretty remarkable. And I really liked Gerwig's simple and affecting direction. This definitely deserves all the praise it's getting, even if it didn't quite hit me the way it has hit others. It's just lovely.
