This film has a lot to it, and it is truly an exhausting experience watching it. It also doesn't help that the film pretty much lays bare everything that is so difficult about being a human being. I mean, the whole film is about trying to figure out the right way to live your life, though the film's answer is that we will never find a right way to live. We will constantly be worrying about how we look, how we feel, the things we say, the things we don't say, worrying about the relationships that we have, the relationships that we have lost, and so forth. It truly does not get heavier than this film, especially in terms of how it inspires self reflection, but I am glad it exists, and I think it is a masterpiece.
