Jacob’s review published on Letterboxd:
I am genuinely awestruck at how much I loved this.
It's a fever nightmare. Not so much a remake, but a reconstruction of Dario Argento's giallo original into something more muted, expansive and sickening. My eyes were glued to the screen, my body paralysed in my seat throughout practically the entire film and the credits sequence, my head spinning with endless thoughts as to the insanity I had just witnessed. There's so much to talk about that I can't do justice in this review (it definitely requires an essay/article after a rewatch).
All I'll say is I give my soul to Mother Suspiriorum and the dance.
