WOW FUCK THE LAST 5 MINUTES OF THIS!!! The movie went from a 5 to a 2 by continuing after she left and told him she doesn't love him anymore. I can't scream "DUMP HIM" at the TV loud enough. I could write a 10,000 word essay on why this trilogy is irresponsible and misogynistic but I have spent far more time and mental capacity on it than it deserves. Sure, it's beautifully shot and edited and the dialogue is compelling but holy shit???? you could've made a movie about anything and the themes you chose were "deadbeat dads can be complex" and "emotional abuse is a part of love"??!??!? unless linklater is announcing the production of school of rock 2 id like him to stfu
