    Admirable direction from Wan and I liked the body horror aspect but modern studio horror flicks are just not for me.

    Convoluted and boring as hell. So blandly shot and directed. Hardly feels like his film. I don't understand, what is up with alot of foreign directors making terrible english-languaged debuts? Might have to do something with hollywood idk.

    Towards the end, Jessie Buckley's character turns into the same girl from the Robert Zemeckis movie for a bit and I had to make sure that I wasn't going crazy so I saw that part again. That was the moment where it all clicked for me.

    Oh boy..... Wonder Woman 1984 can be summed up in these 4 words, "What. Were. They. Thinking?".

    I revisited the first WW very recently and despite it's many fatal flaws, I actually found myself enjoying the film and I had also enjoyed all the non-Snyder films of this franchise so I was at least expecting an average film to just keep pushing the DCEU forward but man, was I asking for too much.
