  • Jurassic World Dominion

    Jurassic World Dominion

    ★★

I finally saw this on a plane the other day and was very dissapointed.

Firstly, I haven't seen all the films in this franchise. Only the original jurassic park, jurassic world and jurassic world fallen kingdom before this. To be honest, I enjoyed all of those films. The original is a brilliant film, world is very underrated in my opinion and whilst fallen kingdom wasn't incredibly well made, it was a lot of fun. Dominion actually had a lot of…

  • Diego Maradona

    Diego Maradona

    ★★★★

Growing up in England I heard of Maradona more as a thug and a cheat than actually as one of the greatest players of all time. Even though I knew he was an incredible player in this day, the one phrase "hand of God" seemed to silence anyone talking about his actual amazing footballing ability. Kapadia in this film does a brilliant job in showing both the genius and cheat in Maradona through some great editing to make this documentary…

  • Love the Coopers

    Love the Coopers

    ★★

Timothee chalamet’s dad dancing was disturbing.

  • Good Will Hunting

    Good Will Hunting

    ★★★★½

Damon and Williams' partnership in this film is probably my favourite acting partnership I've ever seen a film. Every single interaction between the two is masterful in some way. Other than that, the rest of the film is pretty great to.

  • Deck the Halls

    Deck the Halls

    ★★½

Hilarious in some places, in others the gags felt very ripped off from other, better Christmas films.

  • Moonlight

    Moonlight

    ★★★★

I've been pretty much unable to watch any films at the moment because I'm watching almost the entire world cup so with the break over the past two days, I finally watched moonlight and it definitely lived up to my expectations. Great film for sure. Personally, I still prefer La La Land and am convinced that should have won best picture for 2016 but this film winning it instead was far from a robbery.

  • A Fish Called Wanda

    A Fish Called Wanda

    ★★½

Bit disappoinyed considering John Cleese is probably my favourite comedy actor and Fawlty Towers and Monty Python are fantastic, could've been worse though.

  • Get Out

    Get Out

    ★★★★½

An unconventional horror film that tackles racism in a very different way to most Hollywood films. Result= a fantastic film

  • Bruce Springsteen: The Promise – The Making of Darkness on the Edge of Town

Bruce Springsteen: The Promise – The Making of Darkness on the Edge of Town

    ★★★★

I NEED to see one of these for Born To Run. Darkness is a masterpiece but born to run is the greatest album ever made.

  • All Quiet on the Western Front

All Quiet on the Western Front

    ★★★★★

I know this is going to come off as a huge statement but this is, unless you consider Schindler's list a war film, my new favourite war film of all time and also the best film of 2022. From start to finish I thought All Quiet On The Western Front was phenomenal. The depiction of war is so brutal and disturbing it makes certain parts of the film, particularly the scene in the bunker, feel like they belong in a…

  • The Alphabet

    The Alphabet

    ★★

    What?

  • Alien

    Alien

    ★★★½

Lots of great stuff in it but nothing really stood out to me as extremely ground breaking for the time and even if a film's not ground breaking it can still more than make up for it by being enjoyable and whilst Alien was quite enjoyable I can't say I was THAT entertained.
