Dumb Money is a film that captures a rather short period of time that only happened two years ago. I’m sure if you were on the internet at all in 2021 you probably heard of the GameStop stock market and how one guys decision to post about it on Reddit lead to huge losses for hedge fund managers. However can this movie really be that good if all this only happened about 2 years ago?

This short film was a rather dark twist coming off the heels of his previous short The Wonderful Life of Henry Sugar. That being said this film has a rather great pace to it as well but might be moving along a little too fast at times. Once again though Wes Anderson style is rather beautiful and visually pleasing but his way of storyline just doesn’t interest me all that much.

Going into this I was little worried about the change of setting to the city but after seeing Scream VI and how they handled it the worries began to ease away.
