had to give this 4.5 to get the average up sorry not sorry

i laughed so hard, mainly when it wasn't meant to be funny. the cgi and the sound mixing....um..we don't have to talk about her. (but i am pissed bc i could hardly hear eric's song over the damn waves and the rest of the music)

also it's canon that they're in the carribean! so ariel is jamaican bc i said so!!

i almost forgot. HALLE I LOVE U YOU ARE AMAZING. SHE DIDN'T DESERVE ANY OF THE HATE SHE GOT SHES AMAZING AND BEAUTIFUL AND I WANNA BE HER

great psychological thriller. i was scared shitless at some parts, especially near the end. that haunting score will play in my head forever, it made everything all the more unnerving.

this needed more nicole!! that poster is such a tease ! she stole the show in every scene she was in imo. also more scenes of the cult thing! but i suppose that would've taken away from the mystery of it. and although I didn't love it as much as I thought I would (probably my least fav kubrick so far), this was such a technically well-made movie that i def need to rewatch at some point.

i can't believe this series has been going on for 9 years now. rocket's entire backstory absolutely wrecked me. i love him so much. and the soundtrack ate down as usual. 

also the 2001 references!!! one of my favorite movies ever and thee sci-fi movie that made this all happen...awesome

a fucking classic

the camera was going crazy!!! i fucking loved it. and i loved the score the camerawork/camera placement, the folk music...

also the switch to black and white was a nice touch to portray grief/melancholy
