technically speaking it’s incredibly well made and like the cinematography is gorgeous. score was my personal favourite part i loved it ! i think i struggled w connecting to it and i think the ending was a bit too on the nose

not really a remake? removed all the parts of the first movie that made me fall in love with it. these characters didn’t feel as real to me so i couldn’t invest. still a good watch and really just masterfully made
