Godzilla vs. Kong slaps.
The entire second half of this movie is pretty much full throttle nuts to butts big monsters smashing meat against each other for like 45 straight minutes and it is absolutely wonderful.
It doesn't cut any corners, it doesn't give you any disorienting angles. You get to see everything, Kong is like a well-trained martial artist in some of the fights, he does like a superman punch where he jumps off of a building and delivers an absolute clobbering blow to Godzilla it's so good.
Video game movies have a long history of sucking ass, and this one to me seemed like it stood the best chance of at least being an enjoyable movie based on the trailers, and for the most part, I would say it was an enjoyable movie.
I think by far the best characters in this movie are Scorpion, Sub-zero, and kano. Unfortunately Sub-zero and Scorpion aren't on screen that much, but luckily Kano is. Kano is the only character in…

The Father is one of the saddest films I've ever seen. Brutally heartbreaking from start to finish. This completely tears your heart apart.
With a heartbreaking powerhouse of a performance, Anthony Hopkins delivers his best performance, with this performance alone, at his age, he's running circles around every other working actor.
