I watched my favorite movie with my favorite person and it was a wonderful way to come back to it after a bunch of years.
Griffin Dunne is a treasure as a rascal getting his due (and more). You can see why Peter Gabriel (allegedly) wrote "In Your Eyes" about Rosanna Arquette. Teri Garr is the perfect 60's bubblegummer stuck in the new wave 80's. Catherine O'Hara and John Heard, together and yet separate, some years before they'd spawn Kevin McCallister... ahhh, so much to appreciate.
This was my second movie of the weekend that featured the always wonderful Dick Miller. I'd love to go back in time and buy that man a beer or shake his hand or something.
