Becca’s review published on Letterboxd:
A very suspensful horror mystery that keeps you guessing from the start till the end, although the killer reveal was kind of underwhelming and it starts to fall apart from that point onwards. One thing I do love about Scream is the chase scenes, you can tell that every single movement of those involved is so carefully planned and it makes it a lot more thrilling to watch as a viewer.
I admire Craven for having a clear vision when it comes to Scream and sticking to it. Its very to its own for this reason and its what makes it so special. Its the only horror franchise I know that could go from a comedic discussion in film class about how sequels are bad in the middle of a sequel to being relatively frightening and having you on the edge of your seat.
