    52 films I will watch in 2023: #37

The ambiguity haunts this film like a neverending specter. Surely this man died by suicide, but... how will she ever know for sure? Why would he do it? The questions that loom eternal, that make it feel impossible to move past or let go. And the most impactful line of all, “it happens to all of us”.

There are things we all have to survive to keep going, but some of us…

Quentin's performance as Jimmie is underrated.

If his other performances were even half as natural and effortless as this one, he could've had a great side career as a Buscemi-style character actor.

The glass budget for this movie must have been out of control

This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.

What Jaws did for swimming in the ocean, Society did for attending underground incest orgies.

Interesting up to a point but it’s trying to do way too much and ends up not succeeding at much of anything.

Gabriel is a successful visual effects artist now. Love that.

He was also a Star Trek expert on Storage Wars, evaluating a pleTHORa of items.

Finest girl I ever met in my whole life
Want to take her home, make her my wife
Knew she was a freak when she started talking
She said, “Fuck me like we fucked Bin Laden” (ooh, whoa)
    That girl was freak
She said she wanted me to fuck her harder than the military

    Fucked Bin Laden
    Fucked Bin Laden

She wanted to fuck me harder than the US government

Wenn es einen Film gibt, den ich nach dem Abspann direkt wieder von vorne starten möchte, dann ist es The Room. Ich werde Tommy Wiseau auf ewig dankbar sein für all die wunderschönen Abende, die er mir beschert hat. Praise the lord! 👏🏈
