Of all the popstar films, this one firmly holds the spot of 'The Darkest Timeline/Universe', yet it's also somehow completely hopeful?
What I noticed most on this second viewing resides entirely in the performances.
As the younger Celeste, the innocence & hope slowly drips off of Raffey Cassidy, perfectly leading the transition to Natalie Portman's hardened, bitter, yet still entirely human & caring portrayal
So much to unpack. So much to love
