Tentin Quarantino’s review published on Letterboxd:
Clever concept executed well enough, but I don't think the author should have been allowed to adapt her own novel. The movie doesn't feel enough like a movie. It's missing a lot of momentum that the cinema requires, particularly early on and later on. The middle bit is quality stuff, but it's the slower periods of downtime before and after major events occur where the story falters. A novelist has free reign, but a screenwriter needs to be more meticulous and calculated in their decisions, and I believe a different, more seasoned screenwriter could have turned this into something special. Instead, it's merely worth watching.
