Tove Böckman’s review published on Letterboxd:
the horror of the possibility of ending up in a marriage with a bland, useless husband is so real that i support amy dunne in everything she does. i thought the narrative was made cheaper by her having conned men in the past, i wouldve loved for her to just WIN. its so satisfying to see her transformation from used and insecure housewife who cant figure out why she’s not content to a full on psychopath bitch. and the husband’s always useless, always underestimating his partner, being a dick but thinking he hides it so well. why is she disappointed? why is she acting like a bitch? because you’re a disappointment maybe.
so glad i finally rewatched it.
