actually really liked this even though its not particuöarly my genre! like the focus on one or fewer characters, nothing bores me more than a eat movie trying to follow too many different groups at the same time and cutting every time it starts getting excited.

  • The Two Popes

    The Two Popes

i really liked this as a movie but hm they still nasty old popes tho :/

  • I Lost My Body

    I Lost My Body

you know i wish it wouldve been more about the hand.

  • Little Women

    Little Women

i didn’t have a very strong emotional reaction to this at first but then i started thinking about all the different kinds of love and love expression and then i really lost it 😭

  • Frozen II

    Frozen II

i hate olof and i dont like him interacting with the other characters but the olof recap scene? kinda slapped!

kristoff sucks and raindeer talking is stupid lol

  • Judy

i dont know what to think bc renee was fabulous and heartbreakkng and perfect, but was she judy? read like renee zellweger to me but maybe i just know her too well

really happy about more musical bio pics. especially women driven stories

  • Knives Out

    Knives Out

    oh dope

  • Joker

please dont make a trilogy out of joker, i rather enjoyed it but dont get any ideas now

  • Marriage Story

    Marriage Story

i don’t know /think/ noah baumbach intended to make a feminist liberation film where a young mother gets away from an abusive, selfish, cheating husband with the help of laura dern but that’s what marriage story is to me

i liked adam driver in this as an actor but i’m sorry, his character does not evoke empathy or much sympathy in me. stop cheating on your wife dude and don’t be so selfish bro maybe try and listen to her talk about what she wants every once in a while

  • Jojo Rabbit

    Jojo Rabbit

it was uncomfortable at times, watching jojo rabbit in cinemas. i’m not entirely convinced white people should be allowed to laugh at anti-semitism, even when it’s satire.

though, as always, taika knows exactly how to write and direct from a child’s perspective. and it’s really very beautiful and expertly handled the way that jojo’s innocence allows for incredibly sensitive themes and outright racist issues/opinions to be confronted on the screen and by the viewer.

  • One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest

One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest

i think this is a sweet story. also i dont know if im evil or just not a misogynist maybe but i dont think that nurse ratched is the devil incarnated (i think she gets extra shit for being a woman and i will say it!) i know i was confused about this the first time i watched it too, bc its such a classic character and i was expecting pure evil

i like the ending, i wouldnt want it to end differently tbh..

  • Sense and Sensibility

    Sense and Sensibility

people snoozing on this, stop talking about pride and prejudice the kiera version, and start appreciating this adaption!
