The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers

shocked to find out saruman’s death was cut! so he’s still there chillin in the tower then i guess lol?

  • Parasite

    oh. oh. ah-ha!
    loves it.

this is a film that speaks to me; it’s funny, it’s serious, it’s super real and it’s a little weird and out there. the term full package comes to mind? stop sleeping on south korean cinema everyone??

  • The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring

The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring

only ever saw the extended versions pretty much and im shocked to find out how long these films are even with the cuts. how have i marathoned these so many times with only minor repercussions??

  • Thelma & Louise

    Thelma & Louise

i wanna drive in a cabriolet with the hood down as i escape my unsatisfying home life and useless man. robbing banks on the way would be fun too.

  • The Holiday

    The Holiday

FINALLY i made some christmas fettuccine to eat whilst watching this and it was glorious. i take care of myself as jack black takes care of kate winslet :)

  • Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets

Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets

    christmas vibes time baby!

  • Metropolis

watched at local independent cinema and i arrived a little late, stressed about work, with a headache. it was one of the most powerful cinematic experiences ever for me. i got the some feelings of wonderment as i usually get from watching really good live performances on the stage.
to me metropolis had a very ballet quality because it was so beautifully choreographed. loved the retro sci-fi, loved the acting, loved it all.

  • Bridget Jones's Diary

    Bridget Jones's Diary

bridget jones the most relatable character to ever exist on screen. if i has slightly more idiot vibes we would be literally identical. which is why i didn’t like her at first as a child fun fact it’s self hate kinda. turned into self love. aw, thanks renée

  • Die Hard

    Die Hard

it’s the first of december baby and we’re starting with ho ho ho yippie kay yay motherfucker

  • School of Rock

    School of Rock

fav scene: when jack black is in the van with joan cusack and he’s snapping his fingers and singing with that beautiful voice getting hard into it and she just says can you stop that? and he says ..sure.
    because it is relatable.

  • Notting Hill

    Notting Hill

when i was little i used to think julia roberts character was like rude and overreacting and kinda mean for teasing poor sweet hugh grant for saying woopsie daisies and inviting him over even though there were interviews going on etc etc.

today i think she’s charming and i would totally fall in love with her myself. it’s character development and women solidarity. no i will not explain further.
