    what a wonderful slow burn of a film this is. started quite slow (which is certainly intentional, and it did take quite a while to establish its tone and aesthetic) but once it got going, this just wraps you up in the claustrophobia of a weekend - in the camera angles, in the anxiety-inducing jazz score (jonny greenwood fucking DID THAT), in the way ghosts or apparitions are always maybe lurking around corners. kristen stewart really does give the performance of a lifetime. it's missing that very special something for me, but this was good!
