Very reminiscent of one of my all time favorites, Frances Ha. I love the themes these type of films carry because as a young adult, we all face these problems and are plagued by the idea of a 'life on track' when in reality, we don't even know what we're doing half of the time and Julie is a reminder that we're all imperfect people. The fact that not every single decision that Julie made in this film was met with a happy ending, is a super raw and beautiful showcase of what it means to human and breaks through the traditional rom com rules in the best way possible. Can't wait to watch this again in theaters when it finally gets a wide release.
