Who could have imagined that the incompetence of bureaucracy would make for such a gripping experience? Of course, layering on some of the most Godzilla to ever Godzilla, including incredible visuals and breathtaking sequences of destruction, really helps that along. And how could you not love those early mutations with the goofy googly eyes?
