I watched this at the Gothenburg Film Festival with Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra playing Mats Larsson Gothe's newly written score and man, what an experience! The visual effects were surprisingly good, I couldn't believe that I saw a movie from 1921 when the Phantom Carriage appeared for the first time in the movie. The story is also really captivating and well written. It's got a lot of great messages and has a say about many aspects of life and society. Mats Larsson Gothe's score is amazing and fits in very well with the tone of the movie. Watching a movie with an orchestra playing the score live is really an amazing way to watch a movie and I think everyone should experience it.
