These unrealistic expectations just got realized
I’d hesitate to dub this movie a comedy when it’s got so much more to it than laughs, but at the same time I don’t think I’ve laughed harder in theater since This Is the End.

“That’s the Viking way”
There’s off the wall movies and then there’s truly unhinged movies, this is the latter and it fkn rocks. I was prepared for whacky but the way Bottoms keeps upping the ante to new absurd heights makes it special. Reminded me of Sorry to Bother You in that way.

The Equalizer 2014
"I was a fackin good cawp"
As much as John Wick deserves all the hype it's got, I find myself more eager to return to The Equalizer. I think it's mostly because Denzel is the coolest person on earth (no diss to Keanu he just isn't in the same stratosphere) and the movie is just a vehicle to let him cook. And chef Washington always delivers.
Love that he doesn't use a gun the whole movie and the action sequences…

This didn't work for me at all. Tom Hanks sounded like a South Park character. Not enough of the story was actually about Elvis.
