It’s kinda mindblowing how Altman was able to pull stuff like this off. So many characters, all seamlessly connected and the entire thing just breezes by. It barely feels like 3 hours. My favorite aspect is how each storyline is just as entertaining as the next. There’s no “low” points in here for me, which often happens with these grandiose, hyperlinked films. This replaces McCabe & Mrs. Miller as my favorite Altman after a rewatch (so far).
