The Pianist ★★★★★

Easily Roman Polanski's most personal work, "The Pianist" does not hold back on the realities of the Holocaust detailing the true story of the luck one survivor of many had. As a fellow musician and a person who would've been a target for elimination in Hitler's Germany I was overcome with emotion as I saw too much of myself in Władysław Szpilman. I don't know what to say other than that "The Pianist" is one of the greatest films ever to detail the horrors of the Holocaust and is an absolute must-see especially in these times when this can be a reality very soon.
