There's a reason this is known for being one of the greatest heist films of all time as well as one of the greatest crime films of all time. Michael Mann's Heat is an amazingly constructed crime epic. All of its elements come together so well.

There is not one wasted minute of Heat's nearly three hour runtime. The film is yet another testament to Michael Mann's incredible abilities as a filmmaker. The heist sequences are so well done, and…

Awful. Truly awful. Watched this with friends back in December and without their company it would have been so hard to force myself through this. The really poor reused CG animation of the shark was funny, and the one redhead who hosted the paranormal show you could tell knew that she was in a really bad film and was just having fun in whatever scene she was in. There were some really stupid moments that made me laugh but it's also kind of boring which is probably the worst thing a bad movie can be.

To Live and Die In L.A. has in my opinion one of the best if not THE best…

A tremendously fun time with tons of nods and references for hardcore Frank Castle fans such as myself. It happens to be the only live action adaptation of the character where his family's murders are a result of tragic circumstance (like in the comics) rather than being targeted (unless you count the stellar Daredevil Season 2 before his solo show went and changed it up by making it a conspiracy). I always found that to be the best origin, as…
