William Lindus’s review published on Letterboxd:
#FantasticFest Secret Screening was the North American premiere of SUSPIRIA.
At 152 minutes, SUSPIRIA is not going to work for everyone, but for me, something just got knocked out of my top ten list for the year. It features bold, ambitious, shocking decisions that I’m surprised they were allowed to make - and even more surprised to see work so well. The soundtrack by Thom Yorke, the performances, the dances, the textures and the colors, it knocked me off my fucking feet. I think this film might be this year’s ‘mother!’ in that it will be polarizing, and that’s okay. This movie fucked me up in a good way.
