Is it wrong to enjoy a Spider-Man movie just because they wouldn't stop mentioning Iron Man? I miss him, a lot.
It was fun, dynamic, the storyline was catchy and way better than Homecoming's and all the references to the comics were warmly welcomed, but this Peter Parker is not my thing. That teenager sitcom energy bores me to death and also some lazy dialogues confused me: it created some sort of emotional rollercoaster for me. Peter's development was nice and smooth, and I truly appreciated some depth among all the silly jokes and meaningless scenes. Jake was a good investment, served some delicious acting there although I couldn't have ever imagined him in a movie like this.
But anyway, can't wait to find out how this Spider-Man grows, perhaps I'll end up enjoying his solo movies.
