Anders Furze’s review published on Letterboxd:
What an overwrought, totally disengaging and at times cringe-worthy endurance this is. The spectacle of previous films has been totally smothered by shallow references and thin echoes of this franchise's now rapidly-receding past glories.
The plot's histrionics range from dull to offensive: all the Leia stuff...my Goodness.
The dialogue is entirely on the nose, the banter is forced and the film doesn't care about having fun with any of the planets its characters are constantly hopping through. Nor does it want to spend longer than a hot second on any of them.
Take me back to Naboo. This is all just too depressing.
