This held my attention for like 20 minutes.
The voiceover was unnecessary and would literally tell you what we had already witnessed or about to be witness....
This was a sad attempt at a Coen brothers film and I don’t even like the Coen’s that much. Just really predictable.
Bill Skarsgard, Eliza Scanlen and Tom Holland are good. Pattinson was hamming it up to high heaven, he’s like the new Tom Hardy/Nicolas Cage because only he seems to know what the fuck kinda accent he’s attempting to do. Was not invested in literally anybody, ok maybe just the dog and the orphan... The Place Beyond the Pines did generational trauma/revenge better!
Also seeing as everyone is going to pay him dust, Harry Melling is convincingly creepy in this!
