This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
Aria Aster sure does love to imply major head trauma one minute and then just a few moments later just linger on the head which received said trauma, doesn't he?
For all its faults, this movie has two really funny sight gags:
>Buscemi's "Keep America White Again" hat >Adam Driver pulling up to the scene of a grisly double-murder in a comically small SmartCar
That's all the input I have really. Not great, but not awful.
For like 75% of this movie I had the biggest fucking smile on my face, and the rest of the time I was holding my breath on the edge of my seat. Deserves all the awards possible.
Watched this at a midnight showing, and Tommy Wiseau himself was there. It was just as surreal as you'd imagine it would be.
