Gabriel Gundacker’s review published on Letterboxd:
Zemeckis using strict, dormant blockbuster formula on an unfathomably true and traumatic queer biopic turns a product so insoluble it is near impossible to make sense of what he is out to say.
That being said, this movie is so dense with ideas it's also hard for me to simply write this off as being a bad movie. So I give it simultaneously one and four stars. No that does not add up to five stars. One star and four stars.
